Job Summary


The
Director of Finance, Planning and
Operations will be responsible for the planning of wholesale and retail channels across Europe as well as for the business planning and reporting linked to the activities.


What you'll do

Finance

  • Budget, forecast, and track of P&L performance for the European business unit.
  • Partner with corporate finance teams.
  • Handle any adhoc financial analysis with emphasis on variance analysis, P&L impacts and business cases.
  • Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for financial planning processes and system.
  • Support local marketing, retail and wholesale teams with financial guidance to strengthen decision quality.
  • Manage weekly and monthly financial reporting and analysis delivering to key stake holders.
  • Oversea accouting Europe (AP).
  • Collaborate with coporate accounts receivable team to evaluate risk per client, insurance needs and support AR collections.

Wholesale Planning

  • Create, manage and forecast the Open to Buy (OTB's) continually evaluating sales and receipt to ensure meeting seasonal sales, margin and sell thru targets.
  • Manage weekly and monthly financial reporting and analysis delivering to key stake holders.
  • Partner up with the Director of Wholesale, Sales to analyze and report sales information by market category and consumer inclusive of sellthroughs, sales volume, stock levels.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with crossfunctional teams (merchandising, production, retail planning, sales team, accounts, operations and finance) to drive business results
  • Analyze by account weekly: total to plan, LY and key metrics as well as actual sales at the department, door level, class style level.
  • Collaborate with Director of Wholesale, Sales on creation of action plans to ensure financial plans/forecasts are achieved.
  • Manage RTV and EOS budget.

Operations

  • Manage European wholesale operations team (1 team lead + 2 coordinators + 1 intern).
  • Ensure accurate customer order entry, order confirmations and on time fulfillment.
  • Ensure customer master data stays accurate and is reviewed on a seasonal base to ensure proper reporting and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage 3PL on all outbound related topics;
  • Weekly and daily forecast with 3PL
  • Manage efficiencies, set priorities, control deliveries
  • Verify and approve invoices.
  • Prepare commercial invoices in alignment with global customs team.
  • Provide ongoing updates and communication towards sales agents regarding fulfillment rates, etc.

What you'll bring

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration with a focus on finance is an asset.

Experience:


  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient with IT, budget and report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual oral and written (French & English).
