Skills, knowledge, experience required:


  • Master degree in Geographic Information Systems Geospatial;
  • Solid understanding of geographic matters: coordinate systems, projections and datum's;
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the delivery of Certified ESRI training packages;
  • Proved experience in the development /tailoring of ESRI Arc GIS commercial training packages for military use cases;
  • Introduction to GIS;
  • ArcGIS Desktop: Essential Workflows, Performing Analyses, Drawing Maps with ArcGIS;
  • ArcGIS Pro: Migrating from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, Essential Workflows, Automating Workflows, Spatial Analysis, ArcGIS Network Analyst, Creating Maps and Visualizations, Image Analysis;
  • ArcGIS Online: Apps, Using ArcGIS Online in your Organization;
  • ArcGIS Enterprise: Sharing Content to ArcGIS Enterprise, Configuring Base Deployment, Administration Workflows;
  • Proved knowledge on Python Scripting for Map Automation/Geoprocessing workflows;
  • Proved experience in the development, testing and implementation of "stateoftheart" GIS map production workflows;
  • Contractor's company must proof that the GIS training and remote technical support, provided meets the requirements of the standard ISO 9001:2015;
  • Fluent business English.

Duties/role:


  • Delivering certified ESRI training package(s);
  • Acting as a GIS training adviser for the JISR/GeoMetOc Branch;
  • Providing technical advice NATO Core GIS Deployments;
  • Developing customized GIS training packages in order to fulfil identified training needs;
  • Developing, testing and implementing of "stateoftheart" GIS map production workflows in support of NATO operations and exercises;
  • In order to assure the quality standard of the deliverables, these activities are to be provided via an established ESRI centre certified on the ISO 9001:2015.
