We are looking for a Data Scientist with experience on Service Design

In your role, you'll work with an international team of Data Scientists to run explorative data analysis and develop machine learning models on top of various data sets ranging from ERP to industrial time-series datastreams.

You will help in building the best in class Digitalization solutions for Outokumpu and help rollout the solutions in our sites.

We are looking for an efficient and motivated team member to our
Advanced Analytics team.

Advanced Analytics is a multi-site team of professionals that is helping Outokumpu to get further value out of the existing data across production lines and business domains.

Your role

Build, develop and manage machine learning models and analytics solutions for internal customers across Outokumpu
Plan and help implementing the models and analytics solutions to production
Manage existing solutions and help develop them further
Maintain documentation of the solutions and report development status and proceedings to relevant stakeholders
Develop working processes to maintain the operational performance level of the solutions

Qualifications

University level degree or equivalent in Computer science, mathematics or other relevant field
Experience in working in cloud environment (preferably Azure)
SQL, Python or R knowledge
Experience on Jupyter Notebooks or Azure ML Studio
Fluent in English, both oral and written
Social skills, ability to work in a team as well as independently
Good problemsolving skills
Experience in Service Design would be a nice addition
