The Tesla Intralogistics Team is looking to hire a skilled Material Planner to manage the supply of raw materials and components to the Tesla Plant form its external warehouse locations and suppliers.

This individual must fully understand Tesla's supply concept and production operations, as well as be an expert on their assigned product or commodities.

This role involves daily management of supply and constraints, status reporting and escalation, supplier engagement and the relentless pursuit of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Securing the onsite Stock levels to meet the forecasted build plan
Securing the onsite and offsite Trailer Yard inventory
Troubleshooting stock discrepancies
Interface to Program Planning Department to establish changes in the production plan Coordinating capacity planning (e.g., periodic over time, Saturday work) with external Warehouses, Trailer Yards, JIT/JIS suppliers as well as transportation service providers
Deliver cleartobuild status, material coverage, runout reports and other analyses as needed
Main contact for JIT/JIS supplier queries and troubleshooting of issues arising in the Ordering, Receiving, Invoicing processes.
Creation and management of JIT/JIS Orders for Trail Processes
You will partner with the Process and IT-Team as well as other business stakeholders on planning and system improvements.

What You'll Bring

You live and breathe the planning of vehicle parts You have a drive to make sure that all assigned tasks are under control.
Bachelors or master's in supply chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, a similar discipline, or evidence of exceptional experience
Experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain management
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to analyze data to enable operational decisionmaking or present clear recommendations to leadership.
Ability to write, speak and present effectively and persuasively
Very Good written and spoken German skills (C1+)
Good written and spoken English skills (B1+)
Willingness to work in shifts and on the weekends
