Bachelor Thesis Work:
Numerical Study of Droplet Formation in Turbine Expansion Flows

Your work will include:

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis of a Turbine Expansion Flow
Validation of Numerical Nucleation Models by Comparison with Data from Existing Validation Experiments
Modeling of Spontaneous Nucleation with Coupling to the Turbine Flow

Prerequisites:

Enrolled student within Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or similar field of study
Interest in Numerical Methods, Modelling and Programming
Interest in Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics
First experience with CFD tools (preferably Star CCM+)
Previous experience with Python and/or Java would be helpful
Basic Linux skills would be helpful
English: Fluent
