What you will do
At Volvo Construction Equipment Germany GmbH you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large


You will:

• As Head of Accounting you are responsible for the accounting records and its accuracy within the legal entity
• The purpose of your job is to provide both internal and external parties with meaningful, accurate and timely legal entity financial information and you should ensure that the books are closed in a timely manner and according to the required quality standard set by the owner of the Financial reporting process
• The Head of Accounting should ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for the represented legal entity what means reporting according to International Accounting Standards as well as according to local GAAP.
• One very important part of the job is to be updated with all the latest changes in accounting policies and reporting requirements, and to make sure these are implemented in the legal entity reporting
• Together with your Accounting team and supported by the Volvo Shared Service Centers you will consolidate, report and deliver monthly and annual closing of the legal entity results
• You will coordinate and facilitate audits for the legal entity and support the different stakeholders throughout Financial auditions
• As Head of Accounting you represent Accounting in legal entity forums/decisions regarding accounting, statutory and compliance reporting for the legal entity

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong background in Accounting and Finance
• Degrees in German and International Accounting are appreciated
• Team player and experience in team guidance
• Work experiences in international teams and with Shared Service Centers are appreciated
• Business understanding
• Absolute integrity
• Strong commitment to get things done
• Fluent in German and English
