The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden location (Abbott GmbH) for the department Export Operations.

What You'll Do

Service Contact for customers, country offices and sales organizations for 5 divisions of Blood Diagnostic and Diabetes Business within dedicated countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America
Provide continuously highquality customer service in terms of order handling, processing and shipment organization for specified territory
Coordination of air, truck and ocean shipments with internal departments and external partners
Preparation of all necessary documentation from shipping documents, certificates or legalized documents, etc.
Communication and coordination with external 3rd party service providers (e.g. forwarders, governmental entities, inspection companies, embassies, etc.)
Handling of export finance tools such as letter of credits, bank guarantees etc.
Ensure legal export requirements are met such as export restrictions, embargo laws as well as internal policies and procedures
After sales support, complaint handling, exception handling and reporting
Project Support

Your Qualifications**- University degree in business administration, logistics or similar trade school education

Work experience in export business, professional communication with governmental entities and curiosity in international business relations
Strong customeroriented mindset with cando mentality and problemsolving skills
Excellent organizational, planning and decisionmaking skills to coordinate crossfunctional processes
Agile mindset with ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced global environment
System aptitude and SAP knowledge preferred
Firm logístical forwarder knowledge to handle all areas of transportation
Basic knowledge on tax, customs, trade requirements and export finance tools (e.g. letter of credit)
Fluent communication skills in English and in German (verbal & written)
Selfmotivated Team Player
