The Opportunity

  • Manage, coach and develop in market DSD team.
  • Build a culture of high performance and open collaboration.
  • Own the DSD P&L and influence to deliver key KPIs.
  • Implement and coach on commercial excellence incl. establishing process for best in class instore visit execution.
  • Collaborate on trade marketing campaigns to ensure sales managers have activation material at their disposal.
  • Share local market and consumer insights and learnings with the broader DSD teams and via MBRs.
  • Work with category team to have the right portfolio assortment for the different channels.
  • Seek out business development opportunities outside of the current customer base.
  • Work with and interpret market data, providing trend analysis with resulting effects on strategy/tactics.
  • Work on CRM system (C4C) implementation project for Continental Europe region.
The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Experience in a sales function (and possibly marketing) working in Germany.
  • Leadership experience across a combination of national accounts, field sales management, distribution management and online channels.
  • Experience building sales channels in DACH at an international sales leadership level.
  • Excellent coaching skills and proven experience of building and developing a high performing team.
  • Passion for the sports / nutrition industry / health and Wellness.
  • Prior experience managing a full P&L.
  • Clear strategic thinker with strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Proven and consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a growth business.
  • Customer insights and sales analytics experience.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Selfstarter, highly motivated and ambitious.
  • High energy, high creativity but ability to work through the basics too.
  • Fluent in German and English.
