Do you think and act in a structured manner and are you confident in calculating what it means to manufacture a product, defining the required processes? You are experienced in plastics and lamination? Then come to us.

TASKS:


  • Team leadership / manage the team to improve time and knowhow.
  • Technical lead of the calculation team.
  • Monitoring all customer RFQs and ensure timely calculations.
  • Coaching, training and feedback to the employees.
  • Carry our annual appraisal of employees.
  • Training of new processes and documentation and ensuring sustainable use.
  • Strategic advice to internal clients in costing.
  • Support the 1st feasibility (design & process) and analyse. Propose solutions (technically & economically).
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation.
  • You will technically report direct to our global branch calculation manager, but you are disciplinary linked to the General Manager of the Tech Center Site in Würzburg.
  • Receive and analyse customer requests for quotations including all requirements (legal, customer, regulatory, internal).
  • Be the technical contact with our customer, partners and work closely with our sales team.
  • Manage the RFQ team with the other internal department (quality, logistic, manufacturing ).
  • Preparation of bills of quantities considering the economic and technical objectives.
  • Determination of quantities, processes and machinery.
  • Calculate the cost of the part (material, component, process, cycle time, operators).
  • Calculate the cost of the tools (mould, gauge, assembly jigs, welding machine ).
  • Create project and tool schedule.
  • Create technical file to explain and show the hypothesis take on the quotation.
  • Evaluation & preparation for quotations.
  • Preparation of project budgets.
  • Explain the cost internally and in front of customer.
  • Participation in negotiations with customers and partners.


  • Profil

  • Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Be fluent in English and German.
  • Professional experience in a comparable position desirable.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in automotive industry.
  • Manage international multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong ability to think, act and communicate in an interdisciplinary and structured manner.
  • Selfconfident appearance and enthusiasm for team leadership in complex automotive projects.
  • Knowledge on design, process in automotive plastic industry.
  • Passion on figures and able to do link between technology and commercial.
  • Accompany the continuous progress of improvement of procedures and optimization of tools.
  • Responsible entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
  • Committed, motivated in cooperation and flexibility.
  • Structured, independent and solutionoriented way of working.
  • Strong knowlegde of the RFQ strucures of German car manufactures.
  • Good user skills in MS Office / necessary tools for this function (i. e. 3D viewer).
