For our location in Heidelberg, with mobile work option, we are looking for a

Director Corporate Sustainability (f/m/d):

What this job looks like:

Strategy Development and Implementation

Work closely with the Chief Sustainability Officer to develop and implement a comprehensive corporate sustainability strategy
Manage the daytoday aspects of SNP's corporate sustainability strategy
ESG Reporting
Manage mandatory and voluntary ESG reporting in line with regulations and frameworks such as CSRD, GRI, SASB, etc.
Establish key performance indicators to measure and track the company's sustainability and ESG performance
Initiatives and Thought Leadership
Drive initiatives to reduce environmental impact, promote social responsibility, and enhance corporate governance practices
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business operations, products, and services
Provide leadership and guidance to SNP's global teams, fostering a culture of responsibility across the company
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (such as Legal, Investor Relations, Purchasing, Travel, etc.)
Engage with European regulators, industry bodies, stakeholders, and communities to stay informed of evolving expectations and opportunities
External Ratings Management
Liaise with key ESG external ratings agencies (such as EcoVadis)
Oversee company submissions, track progress and trends, and manage annual benchmarking

Profile:

Proven experience in a senior sustainability/ESG role, preferably at a global scale
Indepth understanding of international and European sustainability standards, frameworks (e.g. CSRD, GRI, SASB), and emerging ESG trends
Strong network in the sustainability and ESG community
Good understanding of the software business landscape and the specific environmental and social impacts pertinent to this industry
Excellent project management, analytical thinking, and communications skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
Business Fluent in English and German is mandatory
