What You ́ll Do:


The Payroll & Benefits Specialist role will be responsible for the monthly payroll process and provide benefits administration to new and current employees across all European offices.

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will work within a matrixed group of stakeholders and together with vendors to ensure great employee experience and regulatory compliance from a payroll and benefits perspective.


Responsibilities:


  • Complete monthly payroll for 250+ employees across 7 countries, which entails processing all employee changes including new hire, departure, raise, bonus, leaves and other employee information, working with external vendors.
  • Maintain data in and interface with payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and best practices
  • Administer benefits programs such as pension plans, medical plans, insurance plans, and fringe benefits
  • Implement benefit plan changes, ad hoc and periodically as needed
  • Create and distribute reporting, as needed, for compliance audits, internal reporting and other financial accounting purposes
  • Collaborate with HR Department with information relating to employee changes
  • Keep up to date in regards of legal changes in the payroll and benefits area
  • Define and execute the right payroll and benefits process (outsourced vs. insourced) and metrics at the country and legal entity level
  • Collaborate across teams and regions as needed

Requirements:


  • Relevant professional education, e.g. apprenticeship in human resources (Bachelor/Master degree in HR/Accounting/ Business or related field is preferred).
  • 5 years of working experience in professional services environment is an advantage.
  • 23 years of professional experience with payroll/coordinating payroll and/or P&O administration.
  • SAP knowledge and experience preferred but not a must.
  • Work experience in an international environment/team/global company is preferred.
  • Experience in other P&O disciplines (e. g., Compensation & Benefits, P&O Business Partner, Learning, etc.) is preferred.
  • Deep understanding on legal payroll requirements and personnel administration processes in the region.
  • External Vendor management skills and ability to govern payroll processes by metrics.
  • A process and continuous improvement mindset who takes pride in delivering high quality and efficient.
  • Collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to achieve results.
  • Customercentric focus on employee experience.
  • Fluency in English required, German language skills is a plus
