As an Intern within the Corporate M&A Team you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, which actively contributes to the conversion of the global Siemens Energy portfolio.

How You'll Make an Impact

Support within complex M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestments and joint venture projects). You assist on defined project modules incl. the structuring of the transaction, the profitability analysis, as well as the business valuation under the lead of the responsible project manager
Support the operative execution of Carveout and standalone projects
Learn how to prepare wellstructured decisionmaking documents for Senior Management and Siemens Energy decision making bodies
Help to coordinate data requests from internal specialist during the due diligence phase, incl. setting up or reviewing material in a virtual dataroom

What You Bring

Current studies in the field of business administration or comparable
This is a mandatory internship, which is specified in your study regulations
First experiences and sound knowledge about M&A and closely related fields (e.g. corporate finance, transaction services, investment banking, private equity)
First international experience
Very good knowledge regarding fundamental corporate analysis (business models incl. value drivers), external accounting
Convince by having a very good numerical reasoning, high analytical skills and being able to independently prepare and visualize complex facts by using Microsoft Office tools, e.g. Excel and PowerPoint
High degree of assertiveness, initiative and you work result oriented
While collaborating with several interfaces you communicate business fluent in English, German is a plus
