Job purpose

The Investment Strategy - Alternative Real Assets Equity team within AIM SE is responsible for asset classes including: Real Estate, Private Equity, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure and Timber & Agriculture.

It forms the link between the Allianz Group sponsors (individual insurance companies) and the asset managers for the different asset classes.

The team is based in Munich.

Key responsibilities

As an integral part of the Investment Strategy department in AIM SE you will be supporting the Alternative Investments team to:
Evaluate investment opportunities;
Independently monitor investment activities and implement rollout of Microsoft Power BI database for reporting purposes
Research new investment strategy ideas and support ad hoc projects, transaction specifics and investment strategy presentations.

Key requirements

Qualifications:
Advanced stage of your degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar with solid credentials;
You must be enrolled in university during the whole duration of your internship. Please provide proof of your student status (matriculation certificate or equivalent);
Fluent in English (German would be a plus);

Experience & Key skills
Proactive and independent work approach;
Strong interest in Alternative investments;
Analytical and structured thinking;
Selflearner, motivated and able to work in an international, dynamic team;
Very good knowledge in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge in Power BI would be a plus.
