Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:

• Daily management of financial accounting, as well as the development of the team (4 employees).
• Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, dunning and payment
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, tax reports for the US parent company

- according their accounting guidelines (GAAP, SOX)

• Annual financial statements according to HGB and tax returns for the German companies, as well as

- annual financial statements and tax returns for European sister companies in cooperation with local
- tax advisors.

• Cooperation with auditors (internal & external), tax advisors and banks.
• Proactive optimization and further development of existing processes and structures, as well as their
• Assists with implementation of nextgen ERP

Educational and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Accounting, Finance or Management or certified management

- accountant required

• Minimum 510 years experience in general ledger accounting, account reconciliation and financial

- analysis and reporting and 3-5 years supervisory experience

• Expertlevel Excel proficiency, including connections to external data sources, pivot tables, V-Lookups,

- advanced formulas, etc.

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines, and focus on

- work product quality and accuracy

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting process flows and concepts
• Experience with Epicor and FCC a plus
