Your future plans

Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for monitoring threat detection systems and managing the initial response to a cybersecurity incident
Develop and implement security operations policies, procedures and best practices
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with organisational security objectives
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex security issues
Stay current on emerging threats and industry trends to enhance the organisation's security posture
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team

Your powerful skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, or related disciplines, with a focus on security operations
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and technologies
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, Endpoint Detection & Response systems or other intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Advantageous, but not a must

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus
