At the Frickenhausen site near Stuttgart, we are currently looking for a
Strategic Buyer (M/F/d) with a focus on
Cost Down activities.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for strategic purchasing working mainly within a project. You will be dealing with existing products made out of various materials from the BOCK portfolio.

The focus of this position is lying on cost down activities, thus contributing to a more cost efficient purchasing at BOCK.

Specifically, the following activities are part of your daily business:

You determine savings potentials from purchasing and design-to-cost measures
You analyze procurement markets for all assemblies of new development projects as well as for new products
You search for suitable suppliers for prototypes and for subsequent series production and conduct negotiations with them independently
You develop and establish new manufacturing technologies with existing and new suppliers
You carry out benchmark and value analyses
You ensure a transparent presentation of the costs, the degree of implementation and the timely progress of all purchased parts of an R&D and Design-ToCost project
You handle orders from prototype to series release
You not only create but also implement demand and tender planning

Background & Skills:

To be successful in this position, you hold a technical degree or have completed a technical vocational training. A complementary education in business/economics and first professional experience in strategic purchasing would be considered as a plus.

In addition, the following points are important to us:

First experience in the field of procurement of production parts based on dimensional drawings.
Selfconfidence as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills
Very good English skills, good German skills would definitely be an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 2030%)
