Your responsibilities:

Preparation of the consolidated monthly financial statements for the LPA Group
Independent reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable with external accounting service providers
Further development and harmonization of accounting standards & controlling processes in the LPA Group
Supervision of invoicing and receipt control of payments
Support in the preparation of budget planning, forecasts and monthly variance analyses
Provision of information, analyses and evaluations for management
Development of controlling instruments for the operative and strategic businesses
Managing and implementing projects on your own responsibility
Participating in the preparation of annual financial statements including accruals and deferrals
Cooperation and support in the M&A strategy preparation, especially from a financial point of view
Support projects in the postclose and integration phase

Your profile:

A successfully completed business degree with a focus on accounting/controlling
At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling/financial accounting
Experience in project management; M&A specific project knowledge is a plus
Strong commercial understanding and experience in the field of accounting
High degree of flexibility, ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations
Fluent negotiation skills in German and English
Solid knowledge of the accounting standards HGB and IFRS
Sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial action, combined with the necessary pragmatism in the implementation of goals and tasks
Initial experience in the use of relevant controlling instruments of modern corporate management such as KPI control, business case calculation and financial modeling
High IT affinity (MS Office Excel and PowerPoint, DATEV desirable, ERP system)
