Responsibilities:

In your role as legal counsel DACH you are supporting Olympus' business operations in the DACH region by providing pragmatic and efficient advice on all legal issues arising in the medical device business
You are drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, especially including distribution agreements, lease agreements, licensing agreements, cooperation agreements, consignment stock agreements, hirepurchasing agreements, service agreements and framework sales agreements
You are conducting legal business trainings in relevant areas
You are drafting and maintaining contract templates and policies
You are regularly contributing and maintaining content to the legal intranet portal
You are steering external legal counsel and controlling associated costs and quality
You support projects within the global legal team, e.g., drafting consistent model documents, best practices, contributing to playbooks, and designing processes

Your qualification

Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist) with aboveaverage examination results
At least two years of professional experience (lawfirm or inhouse)
Knowledge of competition law, public procurement law and medical device law would be an advantage
Appreciation for high level of independency, decisiveness, and commitment
Personality with a confident, positive charisma and creative drive
Excellent communication skills (both in German and English), intercultural competence and strong teamwork skills
Identification with the core values integrity, agility, empathy, unity and long term view
