Beschreibung

The German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) is one of the world's leading research institutions and think tanks in the field of global sustainable development.

It carries out policy advice and training tasks on the basis of its own independent research.

The Research Programme "Transformation of Social and Economic Transformation" at IDOS focuses on four research areas:
(1) world economy and development finance; (2) structural change and inclusive development; (3) green economy; and (4) social policy, poverty and inequality.

In 2023, the Research Programme "Transformation of Social and Economic Transformation" offers two (2) short-term visiting researcher positions of 4-6 weeks between April to December 2023.

The positions offer applicants the opportunity to work on their own original research that aligns with the main areas of research of the Programme.

The stay at IDOS provides an opportunity to build institutional linkages, to explore future research collaborations and exposure to the unique working environment in a research institute that is also an influential policy think tank.

Interested persons from all levels of seniority and all countries can apply, including PhD students who are in the writing phase of their doctoral work.

Visiting researchers will be hosted at IDOS in Bonn, Germany.
