This is a permanent full-time role, however there may be a possibility for job share.


We have an opportunity for an experienced RN Coordinator to join our Partnership Services team in supporting specific primary care clinical workstreams and programmes and providing clinical support across projects and the community referral hub.


We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is equity focussed, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and who is comfortable and capable of providing professional advice and education to support the growth of capability in primary healthcare environments.

Underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitangi, our Kaupapa includes ensuring whānau and communities have access to the services they determine they need, are able to achieve self-determined wellbeing, and to live a long and healthy life.

We work collaboratively with community, primary healthcare providers and key partners to support general practices, Māori health providers and social sector agencies, in achieving better health outcomes for our Tai Tokerau population.


The Position


This is a varied role that will enable you to utilise your clinical knowledge in providing professional advice and support through a quality improvement lens with a clinical patient or whanau outcome focus, and a pursuit for clinical excellence and improved health outcomes across primary healthcare.

The role acts as an educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and coordinator in supporting primary health care initiatives.


To be considered for this position you should:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2-3 years post graduate experience
  • Have proficient level or above on PDRP
  • Have an understanding and preferrable experience in primary/community healthcare
  • Have experience in adult teaching, coaching or mentoring or facilitation
  • Be experienced in developing and implementing services and/or programmes
  • Have advanced computer literacy across MS Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and managing relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Be a confident communicator both spoken and written
  • Hold a current NZ work visa and the legal right to work in NZ.
