Financial Accountant (m/w/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Support the period end close process, including preparation of financial and statutory accounting in a timely manner and in accordance with German and international regulations (HGB and IFRS)
• Oversee ledger reconciliation (general ledger + side ledgers i.e. fixed assets) and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Analyze transactions and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders mainly in Korean
• Administration of VAT and corporate taxation
• Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical)
• Control of customer master data and credit risk management
• Act as a liaison between Lotte Chemical and other entities and coordinate intercompany reconciliation and General Affairs of our satellite offices

Your profile

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting
• Proficient understanding of financial accounting concepts and processes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to effectively and constructively communicate with executive management level personnel
• Interacts positively with others and engages in a broad range of positive interpersonal interactions
• Fluent in Korean and high proficiency in the English or German language is essential, excellent digital literacy including MS Excel and SAP FI/CO
