Zizoo is the leading boat holiday platform, offering over 30,000 boats across 500 destinations worldwide.

We cater both to licensed sailors looking to book a boat only, and to those with no sailing experience, interested in hiring a boat together with a captain and optional crew.

We make it easy for travelers to find the right boat by simplifying the selection and booking process.


Our Berlin-based crew is looking for a team player who wants to transform the nautical world from the ground up.

We are looking for a Finance and Payments Intern who will join the Finance Team at Zizoo.

You will be handling day-to-day payment operations and accounting tasks while also working cross functionally with Product/Tech and Operations teams.

Tasks

  • Manage daytoday tasks in Finance, Payops, Investor relations and M&A as direct liaison with the CFO, Head of finance and company's management
  • Independently lead projects in finance and crossfunctional projects
  • Support business analysis function
  • Draft monthly and weekly investor updates
  • Process daily operational tasks in payments and collection
  • Communicate and resolve customer and charter on paymentrelated issues
  • Collaborate work with other teams to streamline workflow processes
  • Prepare and monitor daily and monthly finance operations reports
  • Support the team with other finance and accountingrelated tasks
  • Assist in ongoing departmental projects and initiatives
  • Think proactively and present new opportunities to grow the business
  • Support company's M&A projects
  • Proactively improve workflows in key finance areas together with BI and other team members

Requirements:


  • Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on finance/accounting
  • Great command of Excel. Knowledge of other finance and data tools is a plus
  • Detailoriented and excellent organization skills
  • High achiever you were always top of your class. Every task you take is an opportunity to show your quality.
  • Very strong in PowerPointls in English, German is a plus
  • Very strong in powerpoint
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that loves setting up high goals and resolving challenges
  • Strong communication skills in English, and German is a plus
