Siemens Financial Services (SFS) team is looking for a Data and Business Intelligence Specialist (f/m/d) to initiate and manage reporting automation in the field of data and data visualization using state of the art technologies.

You will work within the Data & Business intelligence team in the headquarters in Munich, and closely collaborate on projects with our legal entities spread across 14 countries.

Data & Business Intelligence is a recently founded, energetic, and diverse team within Siemens Financial Services, that holds both business and technical knowledge. We support the business to specify their requirements, solution design, support the connection of data sources to our datalake where we develop business logic and data architecture, and finally develop business intelligence dashboards.

What part will you play?

Drive and manage digitalization projects together with the Business and IT teams
Support the business with the translation of requirements and creation of functional specifications
Work closely together with our IT team in a DevOps environment to ensure our infrastructure is suitable for our business needs
Development of business logic in the reporting backend of our Datalake
Develop business intelligence dashboards mainly in Tableau and Power BI focusing on functionality, design, and user experience
Maintain deployed developments both in the backend and front end
Provide trainings and seminars to our internal customers
Support the migration of our data ecosystem from an on premise to a cloudbased solution in the next couple of years
Act as second level customer support

What you need to make real what matters.

MA/MS in business or economics with a technical focus, business informatics, business mathematics or similar with first work experience in the data and business intelligence field
Alternatively, a BA/BS in business or economics with a technical focus, business informatics, business mathematics or similar with 3 years of work experience in the data and business intelligence field
Experienced with Tableau as data visualization tool
Experience with Power BI would be beneficial
Ideally, experienced with dashboard design (UI/UX)
Experience and understanding working with databases (SQL knowledge)
Another programming language such as R, Python or C++ would be beneficial
German skills would be beneficiary
