Your Responsibilities


Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a pivotal role in supporting the VP of Marine Operations? As the Assistant to the VP Marine Operations, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by managing correspondence, coordinating appointments, and facilitating seamless communication.

Join us and be the driving force behind executive efficiency and interdepartmental cohesion.

  • Assist the Vice President Marine Operations and senior management; monitor and manage correspondence, setting up appointments, travel arrangements, planning their calendars and resources with an approach to prioritize tasks
  • Prepare Meetings, setting up agendas, ensure distribution, issue protocols and follow up independently on agreed items to ensure the execution of responsibilities and actions
  • Help administer office management systems, maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents. Support with projects, but also with the production of presentations and reports and ensure that priorities and deadlines are met as expected
  • Contribute actively to communication with all departments, establish a network within the organization to support cohesion between all departments and brands
  • Prepare travels arrangements and schedule for shipboard personnel visiting our office

Your Profile

  • Bachelor ́s degree in International Cruise Management, Tourism Management or any related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in assistant functions, ideally in the maritime sector
  • Very good English (English is our company's official language). Intermediate knowledge of German and Italian languages are a plus
  • Selfdriven and autonomous personality, having excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in using administration tools, e.g. Process IT is desirable
