YOUR TALENT:


  • Bachelor's and / or Master's degree in Commerical Law or similar field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position in a law firm or inhouse
  • Knowledge in Trademark Law and other IPrelated Laws
  • Awareness of and interest in current landscape of IP Laws and Case Law
  • Very good communication and presentation skills, as well as good MS-Office skills
  • Fluent in English (both orally and in writing). German, French, Spanish is considered a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and good understanding of esp. the European current legal landscape
  • Assertiveness, strength of character and a high level of discrection
  • Proactive, approachable, reliable, confident, and flexible team player
This opportunity will be available in full time and part time.


YOUR MISSION:


  • Coordination of and collaboration with Customs, Police and other Law Enforcement Authorities in Germany and further selected countries, to fight counterfeiting and IP infringement
  • Management of counterfeit and infringement detention and seizure proceedings in the responsible region
  • Coordination and management of a network of IP law firms and agencies to combat counterfeiting and IP infringement
  • Coordination and handling of civil, criminal and administrative proceedings with respect to counterfeiting and IP infringement in the responsible region
  • Conducting of Law Enforcement trainings in the responsible region
  • Management and maintenance of WCO's (World Customs Organization) IPM database
  • Management and maintenance of EUIPO's (European Union Intellectual Property Office) IPEP database
  • Management and maintenance of BuG (Bürger
- und Geschäftskundenportal) database

  • Management, maintenance, and development of PUMA's IP enforcement case management database "iptrac"
  • Management of Customs recordals in the responsible region
  • Handling of online monitoring and enforcement (elimination of fraudulent websites, social medias, marketplaces, and mobile apps) in the responsible region
  • Handling of Google AdWords authorizations of PUMA's authorized customers
  • Handling of customer requests about product authentication
  • Research and analysis of IP infringements in media, on exhibitions and markets
  • Issuing Cease and Desist notices
  • Issuing Letters of Authorizations to entitle PUMA customers to import and sell products in their responsible regions
  • Conducting IP training days at PUMA's subsidiaries abroad
  • Assistance and participation in supporting various organizations and committees specialized in lobbying (e.g. Abac-Baan, FESI, INTA, Unifab, Gulf BPG, APM) including participation at the various General Assemblies
