Job Summary:
The marketing specialist has varied tasks to assist the members of the commercial
- and management team in communicating and managing information for the vibrant Food Colors Business. In addition to day-to-day marketing activities, the role owner leads and supports impactful activities for Food Color projects across the European business and a variety of different markets. In cooperation with international colleagues and directed by the European Marketing Director the role contributes to the growth of Sensient's customer base and increase of the project pipeline accordingly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The job summary as defined above unfolds in the following essential duties and responsibilities:
Use integrated online marketing to drive lead generation that enables commercial team to deliver a growing pipeline.
Create Food Color industry relevant content for the website
Support in creation of digital communication with focus content creation, CRM and management of social media channels, such as LinkedIn
Digital analytics and insights with particular focus on website management and SEO/SEM optimization
Drive Sensient's brand awareness and consistently communicate on the value proposition and positioning: create assets and communication that clearly translate Sensient's brand image
creation of Marketing materials and presentations as well as trainings
printed or digital material for the international food and beverage markets
Provision of support for the Marketing
- and Key Account function to cater to ad hoc needs concerning customer requests or projects
Adequate and fast-turnaround on PR requests
Enhance Sensient brand as an innovator introducing new product development launches providing the sales team with tools to grow revenue and that meet customers' needs.
Organize and participate in marketing related events, such as PR events, trade shows and commercial team meetings and trainings
The role operates in full compliance with Sensient's Code of Conduct, as well as the company's documented work instructions. Concerning personal and sensitive data, the role acknowledges and complies with the European general data protection regulation (GDPR).
Skills & Abilities:
Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must be fluent in English language, both spoken and written, additional language skills are a plus
Solid copywriting and content marketing skills in English language
Good level of skills in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work as part of a team, in particular within the Sales and R&D structure
Independent and systematic organization of workplace tasks
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree is required in either Communications, Marketing or a related field
2-3 years of business experience in a marketing related field
Work experience in the food or beverage market is required (B2B or B2C)
