    For our Team in Berlin we are looking for an

    Infotainment Commercial Manager (m/f/x)

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for end-to-end commercial affairs (i.e. business development & procurement) to build the digital partnerships with NIO-branded EVs in EU market, with main focus on 3rd party in-vehicle infotainment ecosystem - including in-vehicle entertainment apps, navigation & location-based services - but potentially expanding to other categories to fulfill in-vehicle digital experiences for NIO users.
    • Early engagement with potential in-vehicle infotainment partners including receiving their technical and commercial proposals, making sure they fitting in NIO digital experience roadmap
    • Proactively building connections with strategic in-vehicle infotainment partners as defined by NIO digital experience roadmap, leveraging all resources including both executive meetings or external resources, to make breakthroughs and increasing strategic partners' interests in collaborations
    • Signing NDAs, coordinating with Finance and Quality teams to perform supplier evaluations, and setting up vendor codes
    • Applying for budgets through presentations to executive level and/or issuing procurement requests
    • Identifying the right business model between NIO and in-vehicle infotainment partners, releasing the RFI/RFQ, negotiating for the best commercial terms, getting leadership approvals to the negotiated commercial terms
    • Negotiating the commercial contracts including the Software License Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and SOWs (Statement of Works), by working closely with cross function teams including product management, software engineering, software quality management, finance, and legal
    • Reviewing royalty reports, securing procurement orders and payments for infotainment partners and maintaining good partnerships
    • Encouraging infotainment partners to work closely with NIO for ongoing digital user experience enhancements
    • Solving potential conflicts between NIO and infotainment partners in joint efforts with cross function teams including product management, software engineering, software quality management, finance, and legal

    Qualifications

    • 5~10 years of working experience in software license from buy side or sell side
    • Bachelor/master degree in computer science, electric and electronic engineering, software engineering, or business administration; having the education background across both IT and business is a plus
    • Professional English capability for business presentations and negotiations is a must
    • Deep understanding of business models for software licensing and media ecosystems, including NRE, Royalties, Service Subscriptions, and Revenue Sharings
    • Having a good sense in writing and being sensitive to numbers, to conduct internal reports, as well as drafting, reviewing commercial terms and conditions, and creating spreadsheets for budgeting
    • Working with internal and external stakeholders across different time zones and cultures
