Tasks

  • Account assignment and posting of current business transactions (incoming/outgoing invoices, banks, cash registers, credit cards)
  • Account monitoring and processing of open item list Debtors / Vendors
  • Payment transactions, creating payment runs
  • Creation of the monthly VAT report
  • Support for special projects and adhoc analysis
  • Support in all general accounting matters for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
  • Maintenance and further development of cost center accounting
  • Close cooperation with other departments and the finance department of the parent company
  • Responsible for travel expenses and the main contact

Requirements:


  • Successfully completed training as a tax clerk, accountant or equivalent
  • Professional experience in the described area of responsibility is desirable; ideally with good knowledge of corporate controlling
  • Knowledge of GoB, accounting (HGB), as well as tax law, and experience in the area of preparing consolidated financial statements
  • Nice to have: knowledge at US GAAP / IFRS level, and ERP System Microsoft Dynamics
  • Responsible, independent, meticulous, and timely manner in working with pronounced numerical affinity
  • Good handling of DATEV, especially Excel and MS Office desirable
  • High degree of teamwork, flexibility, and initiative
  • Native German speaker and fluent in English
