Group leader (M/F/x) Intelligent Biomedical Systems:
Your tasks:

- research and development in the area of embedded medical sensor systems and healthcare technology/ Digital Health, in particular on personalised wearable and mobile systems, as well as implants (hardware and software)
- development of methods for model-driven system design and pattern recognition/AI
- coordination & development of a group of researchers, including staff management, acquisition of research funding, scientific publications of research results in biomedical engineering, embedded systems, computer science and medicine
- definition of research themes and strategy, coordination of research projects consortia
- integration into the scientific network of Hahn-Schickard and the University of Freiburg
- collaboration in cross-domain teams

Your profile:

- highly motivated researcher with a Ph.
D. in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines as well as specific scientific experience in the field of biomedical engineering, demonstrated by scientific publications, including validation studies
- experience in several of the following areas: additive manufacturing, printed electronics, medical validation studies, medical device conformity assessment
- ideally experience in the management of research projects
- creativity, initiative, team-oriented working style and entrepreneurial mindset
- excellent language skills in English and -if applicable
- willingness to timely acquire the German language
