About the role
As part of the Group HR team based in the headquarters of Bauer Media Group in Hamburg and embedded in a matrix organization, the
-
(Senior) HR Business Partner
  • Group Functions (M/F/d) will be a strategic partner for her/his key stakeholders and will work in close partnership with them to ensure the alignment between the strategies of the business and the people management objectives

Your tasks:


Furthermore, you as a HR Business Partner see yourself as

  • Advisor
  • Anticipate fields of action proactively translate business requirements into HR activities and outcomes and find innovative solutions
  • Question the status quo, analyse existing HR processes, and develop them further according to business requirements
  • Transmitter
  • Connect HR and the business, be responsible to pick up business needs so that value adding HR initiatives can be created
  • Transformer
  • Proactively trigger change processes and support the operational implementation
  • Coach
  • Support, advise and accompany the business leaders in all HR relevant topics, projects and processes along the global HR strategy
  • Challenger
  • Actively support international development initiatives & topics of leadership and corporate culture, succession planning, employee performance and personal development

Your profile:


Your knowledge and experience with which you convince us

  • Several years of professional experience ideally as HR Business Partner/HR consultant in an international, fastpaced, dynamic organization
  • Deep knowledge and extensive work experience in all major people issues with a resultdriven "handson" personality
  • You are a motivated selfstarter, highly organized, and flexible with a strong team spirit
  • Fluent German and English in spoken and written form
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, clear and persuasive, listen to others and seek clarification, contribute and give input to discussion, confidence to have a strong point of view and express it even if it proves unpopular
  • Deep knowledge of operating models, organizational development transformation and good labour law knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills, sparring partner, with the capability to share knowledge, inspire and pull team members together and encourage individual development
  • You have profound knowledge of the basics of financial reporting and relevant KPI's and you are taking them into account when advising your partner.
