We are searching for our next HR Director for BeNeDach and Nordics.


You will be an integral member of the BeNeDach & Nordic leadership teams and a critical member of the Covetrus European & Latin America HR Leadership Team.

The role will be responsible to lead and drive the European and Global people agenda across the region which operates in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark with an employee population of almost 600.

The main purpose of this role is to partner closely with the regional and country-level business unit leaders on aligning the organizational and people capabilities with the business strategy and needs.

You will drive and guide the people agenda to maximize leadership skills; build scalable capabilities to enable both organic and non-organic growth; promote employee experience with a robust organizational climate aimed to attract, develop and retain the right talent for the region.


As a critical member of the European & Latin America HR Leadership Team, you will be a significant contributor in shaping HR strategic goals, practices and programs across Europe.


The role reports to the VP, Human Resources Europe & Latin America and is matrixed to the regional and country-level Business Unit leaders.


Ideally, you will be located close to one of our offices in either Belgium (Paal / Beringen), Germany (Darmstadt), Netherlands (Cuijk) or Switzerland (Lyssach).

Responsibilities:


Coach, develop and manage the BeNeDach & Nordics HR team which includes 3 HR Managers, 2 HR Business Partners and two part-time HR assistants.

Develop and maintain an efficient and agile HR service across the country and regional business units. Elevate HR capabilities, and ensure people initiatives are seamlessly executed

  • Be a trusted advisor and coach to the regional and countrylevel Business Unit Leaders and their regional leadership teams
  • Lead the HR strategy and operations, advise on organizational design and drive change management
  • Supports business leaders and managers with difficult decision making and serves as a sounding board and confidante
  • Lead and execute employeerelated programs and processes to drive a culture of success and positive employee engagement
  • Lead and optimize the daytoday HR processes, practices and initiatives including hiring and onboarding for key positions, building winning teams, managing performance, strengthening talent bench, succession planning, career management, compensation and benefits, retention, work force planning, diversity & inclusion, employee relations and recognition programs.
  • Able to analyze and use data insights to pinpoint key business issues and drive solutions
  • Manage high quality people policies and ensure compliance to local labor law and global practices

  • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years of experience leading HR across multiple countries (minimum 3 countries).
  • Experience working in a complex, matrix and multinational environment
  • Experience managing HR Teams and building a highperformance HR business partner team.
  • Experience in operating and implementing HR Shared Service principles and crosscountry requirements associated
