Our factory in Trier exports all over the world, sets quality standards and makes it one of JTI's most important manufacturing sites.

In the Quality Assurance Laboratory based in Trier is an open position as
Laboratory Specialist Electrotechnical Testing (M/F/d) to fill.

Your Responsibilities:

Development of electrotechnical and physical test methods for Evapor and Heated Tobacco Products (RRP Reduced Risk Products). As an expert, you drive the validation and verification of test methods according to ISO 17025 and FDA requirements
Selection and qualification of new measuring equipment and coordination of maintenance and calibration tasks
Perform quality analysis for new products or test specifications. As a contact person, you are in direct contact with internal requesters to obtain information about the test requirements and underlying specifications
Support the laboratory team performing routine investigations and analyses as well as the evaluation and reporting of results
Support the further development of the internal digital data recording systems (QIMS, Feedback Management System FMS).
Perform risk assessments for our laboratory activities

Your Profile:

University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
Several years of work experience are advantageously
Broad technical knowledge in the analysis of electronic devices
Fundamental knowledge in Quality Management systems (ISO and FDA requirements
Practical, methodical working practices with knowledge in applied statistics
Good English skills written and spoken
Team player as well as good communication skills
Profound knowledge in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
