For our Bruker AXS location in Karlsruhe, we are looking for
R&D Scientist (M/F/d).

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

Designing, implementing, and experimentally testing innovations in scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM)
Developing advanced data processing algorithms for STEM
Contributing to software development
Assisting operation of electron microscopy facility
Systematic planning of work and reporting of results
Fosters close collaboration with product management

Qualifikationen:

PhD in natural sciences, preferably Master's in physics
Broad knowledge of highresolution electron microscopy
Experience with advanced acquisition and data processing techniques such as ptychography and tomography
Experience in building/modifying complex equipment is a pro
Excellent programming skills in Python or similar
Demonstrated merit in scientific research evident from first author papers
Interest in product development
Excellent communication skills in a multinational team
Fluent in English, German is a plus
