Kvadrat is the world's leading manufacturer of design têxtiles. We supply architects, designers and private consumers across the world with têxtiles and têxtile-related products.

For our Product Development team, we are currently looking for a Product Coordinator to be working out of our Hamburg office.

What we do
Kvadrat Product Development responds directly to consumer and customer needs. At the same time, we aim for aesthetic innovation and focus on sustainable materials and production methods. Creating, maintaining, and researching relevant data is key to our daily work.

You will be involved in many steps of the product development including coordinating the design process and keeping the timeline.

This requires creative, technical, organizational and communicative skills.

One day you will explore materials, techniques and markets, the other day you will translate those into sample requests and discuss and communicate those with our suppliers.

You will become part of a dynamic team where dialogue is key, aspiring to find together the best solutions.

You can expect approx.

20 days of travel a year visiting our Kvadrat HQ's in Ebeltoft, our warehouse in Kladno as well as visiting suppliers and fairs.

Responsibilities
Running projects will be your main priority, dealing with suppliers and various internal stakeholders.

Within project management you will have tasks like:

  • Run collection related product development of têxtile products.
  • Project and data management incl. communication via Delogue.
  • Overview of timing.
  • Following up testing and certifications of new products incl. internal and external communication with suppliers and test institutes.
  • Part of initial order process and first delivery quality approval.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Research on design, art, sustainable materials, techniques and markets.

Qualifications and competencies
You have a relevant educational background, e.g. Textile Designer or Textile Engineer, preferably combined with experience within project management in a têxtile company.

As you will work in cross-functional teams, your good communication skills are key. You are organized and good at keeping the timeline so the whole team will succeed in reaching your goals. You have professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and a fair knowledge of German is an advantage.
