Könneritzstraße 47, Leipzig, Germany

Contract:
part-time (20 h / week), initially fixed-term for 2 years followed by the option of a subsequent employment contract with an infinite duration

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Loan library materials such as books and journals to students and collect, organize and reshelve returned items
Support students and staff during busy Library hours
Catalogue and maintain the library materials
Use and maintain computer library database to help locate library materials
Assisting with book displays and book choice
Creating a bibliography lists to be made available to students
Shelving and shelf reading

Your profile:

Have an interest in children's literature and education
Have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and sensitively with students and staff
Be able to be resourceful, flexible, and selfmotivated to work independently and as a team member
Have excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask
High competency in written and spoken English
Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as the use of IT and new technologies
Experience in providing administration support
Experience of working in an internationallyminded and diverse school community is preferred
