Research Assistant (f/m/d) - Neuroinflammation

Full-time, permanent

At Evotec's headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Neuroinflammation & Data Science group is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Research Assistant (f/m/d) - Neuroinflammation

Your key responsibilities:

Perform cellular, molecular biology and biochemical laboratory experiments
Contribute to the development of biochemical and/or immunoassays using primary cells, cell lines or iPSCderived glial cells and/or neurons for identification of novel compounds treating neuroinflammatory diseases
Support development of translational assays for driving small molecule development towards the clinic
Plan experiments and analysis of the results for discussion within project team
Ensure quality and timely delivery of data
Record experiments punctually in electronic notebook

Your qualifications:

Successfully completed apprenticeship (BTA/CTA/MTA) with some years of handson laboratory experience or BSc. Or MSc. in the Life Sciences
Handson experience in cell culture and image or immunoassay technologies (e.g. Immunocytochemistry, ELISA, MSD, Singulex, HTRF, Western blotting)
Experience with standard molecular and biochemical techniques such as transient transfections, qPCR, etc. is a plus
Dynamic personality with high levels of drive, enthusiasm and commitment and ability to cope with pressure
Excellent team spirit and capability of working with a wide degree of autonomy and independence
Ability to work in a crossfunctional team
Fluency in written and spoken English
