We are looking for a Technical Purchaser (M/F/d) Composite to be part of our research and development and works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany.

- manage the buying process for composite components in line with specified costs, quality, quantity and delivery target quality, stable delivery
performance and cost reductions
- identify, select and develop competitive suppliers in collaboration with engineering
- negotiate prices, improve costs and terms of business by using best practice tools and methods
- support our engineering team with material specification and evaluate new technologies for new, current and revised parts and assemblies
- take "make or buy" decision based on an efficient utilization of internal production areas
- perform market research and monitor changes / trends for purposes of benchmarking and cost controlling
- have relevant business / commercial or manufacturing / engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- have related experience at a professional level, preferably in motorsports or automotive environment
- show experience in project management and a sound background using SAP and Microsoft Office
- display fluent language skills in German and English
- be a good teamplayer and have the ability to work under pressure
