As a Strategic Global Commodity Buyer you will work in a global team and will be responsible for sourcing strategies of semiconductors.

You accompany the purchasing process during the product lifecycle.

You are responsible for the following core targets:
material group strategies, supplier management, material cost saving, contract management.

Responsible for defining the future material group strategy and supplier panel with the interdisciplinary teams
Responsible for nominating and negotiating semiconductors, e.g. new platforms
In charge of contract management with suppliers
Responsible for monitoring relevant KPIs
Identification and implementation of suitable measures to achieve targets, always keeping an eye on costs, quality and deadlines

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Successfully completed a university degree in economics or engineering or a comparable university degree
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in automotive industry
Experience with semiconductors desirable
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to work in a team & strong networking skills
Fluent in written and spoken English mandatory and willingness to travel
