In total the SPECS group employs more than 160 specialists worldwide at its headquarters in Berlin, its subsidiary in Switzerland, and at the local SPECS-TII joint venture sales and service centers in USA and China.

Our finance team at our headquarters in Berlin is hiring with immediate availability as a sick leave replacement initially until for:
**Interim Commercial Clerk / Team Assistant (M/F/d) with focus on payment guarantees/processing of letters of credit on a full
- or part-time basis (min. 20 hours per week) or as a freelancer*
  • Reviewing draft letters of credit from customers in terms of feasibility and their compliance with purchase orders and contracts
  • Commissioning of bank collateral (sureties, guarantees) for customer business
  • Monitoring of the expiration and return dates of the securities
  • Monitoring the deadlines for the letters of credit
  • You have completed commercial training, e.g. as a bank clerk (M/F/d), industrial clerk (M/F/d), wholesale and retail salesman (M/F/d) or successfully completed a business management degree (with a focus on accounting).
  • You have resilient, good to very good professional experience in letter of credit processing and international tenders (in internships, trainig and/or on the job).
  • You have a high IT affinity and can demonstrate very good Excel skills in particular; experience with an ERP system is an advantage.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills, a high degree of independence and ability to work under pressure as well as a goaloriented, committed and teamoriented way of working complete your profile.
