Chair (W3) of Microbial and Infection Immunology

The chair is affiliated to the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Virology of the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus under the direction of Prof.

Florian Gunzer.

In particular, the chair will strengthen the cross-sectional profile "Immunology/Inflammation" of the Faculty of Medicine and its interfaces with the research areas "Oncological Diseases" and "Metabolic Diseases".

You (M/F/x) will represent the field of microbial and infection immunology in its entirety in teaching and research.

We would like you to participate in existing research consortia and cooperate with institutions at TUD Dresden University of Technology and non-university research institutions.

We expect a high degree of cooperation from you, as well as a special commitment to teaching (medical microbiology and virology) and welcome your participation in academic self-administration.
