At the BK Giulini GmbH site in Ladenburg, around 500 employees work in the development, production and sale of additives for the coatings/paint, construction, cosmetics and food industries.


About the job

As a Sales & Distribution Suoort Specialist, you are responsible for supporting both direct business-to-business sales and indirect sales thru our distribution network.

You must develop a relationship with customers and distributors as well as to our internal stake holding departments to support our sales efforts.

You are backing-up our sales team and you take a major role in coordinating our global sales.

These relationships will require both domestic and international travel which may account for up to 10% of your annual business time.

- Serve as a liaison between customers, distributors and ICL Customer Service, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, and Research & Development departments

  • Subject matter expert for end use products and raw materials
  • Maintain and update customer contacts, opportunities, visit reports, technical projects within ICL CRM software
  • Administration and organization of technical and commercial distributor meetings
  • Sales and volume forecasts (demand planning) for European distributors & customers
  • Assist in development of marketing concepts and materials for ICL Paint & Coatings portfolio
  • Participate in quarterly reviews held by Regional Sales Managers with key distributor partners (BKG & HALOX)

Technical & Personal requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or similar
  • Work Experience in sales of chemicals desired
  • English & German is a must
  • Strong communication/networking, presentation skills and intercultural competence
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Manage multiple projects (technical and sales related) efficiently and effectively
