ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking for an experienced Character Technical Artist who will create Animation Blueprints in Unreal Engine, deliver prototypes for character pipelines, and build optimal workflows for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, due for release on PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.


RESPONSIBILITIES

As Character Technical Artist you will be:

  • Setting up meshes for import in engine (skin, blendshape, materials)
  • Import meshes in engine.
  • Setting up physics and cloth simulation.
  • Setting up Animation Blueprints for postprocess.
  • Setting up and maintaining materials.
  • Maintaining character creation pipeline.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine.
  • Good knowledge of Maya.
  • Strong knowledge in Unreal Engine (skeletal mesh, skeleton).

PLUSES

  • Maya Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of character animation.
  • Experience working with perforce.
