YOUR TALENT:


  • Ideal for graduates with relevant experience within Design Industry as a Designer or related
  • Desire to learn about materials (leather, têxtile, woven and nonwoven, plastic, print) regarding properties, functional value and limitations, within product design
  • Understanding of the relationship between Material and Product Design
  • Interest in the Sports Performance market
  • Proficient in Adobe suite and Microsoft office
  • A creative flair and a passion for all design disciplines
  • Solution driven mindset with a strong emphasis on collaboration
  • Ability to travel and work internationally
  • Professional presentation and communication skills in English
  • College/University degree or equivalent in Design, Material Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion, Apparel & Textile Design or related

YOUR MISSION:


  • Build and deliver seasonal Color & Material strategies and stories that are In line with the seasonal design direction and consumer relevant for PUMA Teamsport (Football, Rugby, Indoor etc.)
  • Focus on elevating the consumer experience by crafting materials that are performance and trendrelevant
  • Drive an emotional connection to materials for the consumer through the use of narratives and storytelling
  • Work alongside design and assist in the creation of CADs and Material Maps for the seasonal product lines
  • Provide consumer analysis, market research, and material exploration to the cross functional team supporting the inline strategy and design direction
  • Execute design deliverables in adherence to product creation timeline
  • Have an awareness of color trends and consumer insights and show a keen interest to widen your knowledge in color theory, color achievability, materials, finishes
  • Detail oriented with a clear understanding and respect for the calendar and process
  • Work with the Product Development team to execute designs that adhere to costing goals while advancing category initiatives and be a development partner through onsite factory presence
  • Work and meet with material suppliers, visit trade fairs to keep updated on material innovations
  • Ability to travel for product development trips
  • Your a team player, enthusiastic and a collaborator.
