Outokumpu is looking for an experienced
Solution Architect /IT Product Owner for Supply Chain as part of our SCM and Raw Materials Solutions Domain.

Outokumpu has a digital transformation journey going on in Operations, Supply Chain and Sales.

Our aim is to digitalize the biggest plant in Tornio, Finland into the most digitalized and cost-competitive stainless-steel operation in the industry with other production sites to follow.

We have several large-scale projects in the pipeline in the SCM area, aiming to bring full end-to-end transparency to Supply Chain data and optimize our planning processes.

As our Solution Architect/IT Product Owner - Supply Chain your key
responsibilities are

Solution Design:
Develop and maintain architectural solutions that meet business requirements and align with our digital transformation objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to innovate, define, and refine solution requirements.
Ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
IT Development and Operations:
Take ownership of IT development and operations in a multivendor environment.
Drive the successful delivery of IT projects within the SCM area.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient operations.
Develop security and costefficiency of our solutions.
Lead ITprojects
Business-IT Alignment:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders.
Balance business requirements with IT capabilities to deliver effective and efficient IT services.
Contribute to strategic planning and decisionmaking processes.
IT Portfolio Management:
Maintain a clear overview of the IT product portfolio within the SCM area.
Ensure development activities align with business roadmaps and priorities.
Coordinate endtoend processes for IT delivery, utilizing agile or traditional project management methodologies as appropriate.

This is a position for an experienced SCM solution architect with an ambition to drive digitalization and enhance our IT-enabled Supply Chain steering capability.

The IT Product Owner has a clear overview of the IT Product portfolio within the area, including the related governances and ensures the development according to the business roadmaps.

Additionally the coordination of the end-to-end processes for IT delivery is one key responsibility.

About you

A suitable academic degree or equivalent and solid experience in working in similar area.
Good understanding of IT industry trends and EA governance, development, methods, and standards.
Experience with Azure as data platform
Strong collaboration skills and ability to internally "sell" solution proposals and facilitate decision making.
Experience of working with suppliers.
Fluent in English, both oral and in written text.

You will be part of our team of Solution Architects, Project Managers and Service Managers, team responsible for the development and maintenance for the solutions in the SCM and Raw Materials area.

You will be located in
one of our main European locations and report to the Head of SCM Solutions, Jukka Puurunen.

Some traveling is expected as part of a successful performance in the role, mostly within Europe.
