The production at BMW Group is highly automated and equipped with modern technology. But it doesn't run by itself.

At the BMW Group Plant in Regensburg, the maintenance department works hand-in-hand with production. They are responsible for operating, maintaining, inspecting and optimizing all automated systems. Currently, several positions as electrical maintenance technician (f/m/d) are available.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilites include the independent operation and maintenance as well as the inspection, repair, and servicing of the production facilities.
Through a comprehensive training program, you will be able to carry out optimizations of control system programs for various manufactures.
You will have the oppurtunity to participate in extensive digitalization training and use various apps on your smartphone for your daily work.
Your tasks also include identifying and analyzing weak points in the control process. This includes monitoring process and quality parameters.
Participation in the procurement of spare parts and the independent implemenation of small to mediumsized renovation measures and projects round off your exciting field of activity.
Together with colleagues, you will work out the optimum for the product and process.

Qualifications

Successfully completed vocational training as an electronic technician (f/m/d) or mechatronics technician (f/m/d) or equivalent skills and knowledge acquired in another way desirable.
Valuable professional experience in maintaining electronic systems is preferred.
Profound knowledge of Siemens PLCs (S7 Classic/TIA), Beckhoff PLCs, visualization systems, robotics (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, or other brands), and drive technology is advantageous.
Knowledge with control technology, bus systems, and networking is also benefical.
Passion for autonomous, structured work.
Fluent German language skills.
Willingness to embrace flexible shift work schedules.
