At the
Friedrichsdorf site, Valeo Telematik and Akustik GmbH develops and manufactures innovative communication electronics for intelligent telematics, in order to network telecommunications, navigation, positioning and information technology and to increase driving comfort and traffic safety.

Join Valeo as a R&D Controller (M/F/d)**
Your challenges:

• First level of support to Site Financial Controller for R&D projects
• Copilot of R&D & Project Site Managers
• Validation of the R&D financial performance of the Site (actual Closing)
• Coordination of the R&D reporting processes according to Valeo guidelines (from Mid-TermPlan and yearly Budget to monthly Forecast)
• Budget control of R&D costs per nature and reconciliation with headcounts and project deliveries
• Control of costs allocation per project with focus on intercompany flows
• Analysis of Earned Value in relation to project progress
• Contribution to business cases reviews in cooperation with the Product Line (from project acquisitions to customer change requests)
• Followup of action plans in regards to R&D productivities
• Continuous improvement of R&D Controlling tools and processes
• Adhoc tasks according to Manager requirements (including support on Cash-Flow analysis and Internal Control)

You inspire us with:

• University degree
• At least 3 years experience in a Controlling role
• German language skills
• Good knowledge of Accounting/IFRS principles
• Practical experience with SAP FI/CO and expertise in MS Excel
• Planning and organization skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Responsible attitude at all times
• Driving behavior towards change and continuous improvement
• Leadership skills
• Resilience and openminded personality
• Strong communication skills
