We are seeking an experienced Feature Designer for our enormously successful Hidden Object Game, _June's Journey_. About the role:


  • Work closely with the Lead Feature Designer and the Feature Product Manager to form the vision of an impactful new feature
  • Conceive exciting new features, write and review specs that communicate your vision for new features to other team disciplines, such as Engineers, Writers, Artists, Economy Designers, QA and more
  • Get to know and internalize our players' needs, and use that knowledge to create features that delight, entertain and monetize
  • Make decisions to improve feature engagement, monetization, and retention based on feedback and KPIs
  • Ensure that features are scalable and live serviceable
  • Integrate new features effectively with the narrative experience, game systems, economy, events, and monetization initiatives
  • Understand June's Journey audience and the market, to ensure that your features are competitive and engaging
  • Remain current on the hidden object market and competitive titles
  • Mentor feature designers within your feature team for general design excellence and a highquality delivery
  • People management responsibilities

About you:


  • You must have a proven track record of delivering the design for high impact (Monetization and/or Engagement) features in freetoplay games space
  • You worked on at least one multiplatform mobile F2P game, ideally in the casual space (live ops experience a plus)
  • You make KPIdriven improvements to feature and game experience with your analytical skills
  • You work with an agile mindset and are familiar with the various stages of game production and live game releases
  • You consistently work on improving your design skills to increase team creativity and productivity
  • You have organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to goalsetting and deadlines
  • You have excellent communication skills. You can present your ideas in a clear and comprehensive way using spreadsheets, slideshows, and visual prototyping tools to (large) groups of stakeholders
  • You understand the longterm value of the mobile gaming market, you have a strong interest in it, and you proactively stay up to date on emerging trends, mechanics and monetization techniques
  • You have experience working in an agile, diverse and crossfunctional team
  • You have experience managing and/or mentoring other designers.
  • You have some work experience and understanding of game systems design
