Your mission

Then, have a look at your responsibilities below:

  • You'll be responsible for Sungrow Power's contribution to PV inverter, PV system, energy storage converter, energy storage system standards and research and taking on PV and energy storage standards delegate and expert on behalf of Sungrow Power.
  • You'll participate in international, European, or individual European countries' standards, including attending technical committee meetings, drafting and reviewing international or European standards, reports on standard meeting outcomes and direction.
  • You'll be responsible for researching and management of standards compliance issues, including but not limited to PV and energy storage product safety, grid interconnection, system design and installation; cooperation with Sungrow's standards delegate in HQ.
  • You'll participate in the standard coordination and engagement with EU relative technical committees and authorities. Responsible for the management and consolidation of standards support for European PV and energy storage project biddings.
  • You'll participate in product development, mainly covering standard research activities, specifically generating ideas relevant to PV and energy storage system trends and involving standard strategy and policy development with valuable proposals and recommendations.
  • You'll act as a leading technical authority for the EU local office team, being proactive and striving for technical excellence. Taking the initiative in connecting product relative patents to standards development.

Profile:

Do you have the legal right to work in Germany?

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a related field; a master's or PhD is preferred
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in electrical standardization activities; a member of a technical committee is preferred
  • Expert knowledge of PV or energy storage technologies, particularly converterbased grid interconnection systems, as well as any other technologies.
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced multicultural environment
  • Languages skills in German or Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Excellent technical judgment and understanding of the emerging technical trends and ideas in the industry
  • Excellent skills in team work, collaborations, interpersonal communication as well as building relationships
