Head of Disposal Facilities (M/F/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage various complex disposal facilities and related industrial services and thus safeguard for the site uninterrupted API production capability
Safe, reliable and costefficient operation of two independent incident facilities (wastewater treatment plant and waste incineration plant)
Safeguard for the whole site the adherence to various environmental legal obligations especially in connection with direct discharging process of effluent into a public river
Ensure external and internal compliance with regard to health, occupational and process safety
Initiate and manage multiple projects in order to improve efficiency and increase availability of key facilities of the site
Development and implementation of new waste water treatment technologies and design of production downstream processes to satisfy new production or regulatory requirements
Sourcing of all external disposal capacities for waste volumes exceeding internal incineration capacities or lack of adequate technologies
Leading interdisciplinary site management team (AK Stoffstrommanagement) to control and coordinate all waste streams in order to minimize overall costs
Leading management team of the function responsible for performance results, internal decision making and information processes with main interfaces negotiate with authorities and other third parties

WHO YOU ARE

University degree as chemist (M/F/d) or chemical engineer (M/F/d) with longterm experience in managing industrial disposal facilites
Indepth understanding of technical and chemical processes and experience in continuous optimisation of all relevant processes
Broad knowledge of economic structures to efficiently control multifunctional processes
Experience in gaining all relevant market information and anticipating future trends in waste disposal/treatment
Reliable project management skills especially under pressure faces uncertainties and difficult issues
Very good leadership skills and high competence in leading change processes and managing ambiguity
Full professional proficiency in German and English
