What you will be doing

Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which contain specific instructions to take the steps concerning the reception and shipment of materials.

Close managing and monitoring of shipment specific requirements including temperature control
External communication with airlines, handling agents, customs, brokerage team, disposition, veterinarians, suppliers

- communicates with national and international World Courier stations / agents

Works securely with all pertinent regulations (ADR / DGR / IATA) as well as the relevant laws and ordinances.

What your background should look like
Preferable experience working in a Freight Forwarding Industry

Good awareness including experience and understanding of customs procedures.
Experience of pharmaceutical or other time critical and temperature sensitive shipments
Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
An effective team player with ability to remain calm under pressure
Selfmotivator with a flexible and positive attitude to work
Initiative and the ability to priorities own workload
Effective communication skills, verbal, written and computer literate
A strong customer and service delivery focus
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

- you have good IT skills - we work in several different systems at the same time

Flexibility in working shifts, including some weekends and holidays
Fluent English and German skills
